Convergent vision will result in synergistic value capture. Working in isolation or in tight silos eliminates the potential. Lifelis an interconnected systems dynmaic not just randon chaos. Nothing happens in Isolation.
I agree.
On the dot.
I AGREE! Climate change is very important topic, essential for the planet and human population. We desperatly need Climate Action.
I would like a video copy soon for a project (World Affairs Conference) with 200 high school students our club is hosting. Topic this year is a sustainable future and what we can do to help. There were several ideas in the seminar we can share with the students.
Thank you

We need to become climate friendly and sustainable, the sooner the better .
Thank You !
Agreed!
As a founder member of Green Earth Afforestation Initiative and Rotarian, I committed myself to be a Climate Friendly and sustainable and I will be delighted to join and learn more about the environment issues, learn more how Rotary and particularly President Elect can help Clubs and communities to design and implement impactful and sustainable Environmental project.
At Green Earth Afforestation Initiative, we came up with ambitious goals such as planting 100 million trees by 2030 in Uganda. Create and train Village Environment Team in Uganda and empower them to sensitize their respective areas on environmental issues and promote tree planting.
Creating online live streaming TV to communicate environmental issues.
I appreciate all the organizers and RIPE for for us the encouraging and inspiring us to learn more about environmental issues.
Together we can make the Earth a Better place for us and the generations to come.
For our future generation we need to start action for sustainable living to avoid pollution as climate change causing many natural disaster due to various as well as man mad activities mainly plastic reaching everywhere and causing many health hazard. Thank you so much Yasar sir for organising this unique today’s need session with our everyone’s favourite RIPE Stephanie ????????????????????♻️????
Special thanks to Ludwig Kalthoff for his connections to Synergy Rotary Friendship Alliance, Urs Herzog, and Linda Gebser. Without them, ESRAG would not have this wonderful opportunity.
I believe that it is through our individual and collaborative efforts that we will be able to keep our planet sustainable. Sessions like this one can help to share information and methodologies in the fight to survive.
We believe that climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our world today, and that urgent action is required to prevent further damage to our environment and the millions of species that call it home. Through our outreach programs, we aim to educate people about the causes and consequences of climate change, and to provide them with the tools and resources they need to make a positive impact.
Our organization is committed to promoting sustainable practices and supporting innovative solutions that can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build resilience in the face of a changing climate. From advocating for renewable energy and promoting low-carbon transportation options, to promoting green building practices and sustainable agriculture, we are working towards a more sustainable and just future for all.
We believe that everyone has a role to play in the fight against climate change, and that together we can make a difference. Join us in our mission to build a sustainable future for generations to come. Together, we can create a better world for ourselves, and for the planet we share.
Need of the day to protect our future generations.

Climate change repurcussions as seen on our earth globally are getting fierce day by day. Mainly outbreaking fires and torrential rains giving rise to the water levels in rivers is contributing to the floods causing major destruction and havoc globally.
We should all stand United to work towards improving the quality of environment in our own capacities…. Just do your bit should be the tag line.
I am an ardent environmentalist and ready to offer my services in awareness and action oriented projects.

This is a very good talk, looking forward to lean.
United we stand?
After discussing Member State failures under UNCLOS with Judge Joan Donoghue (President of The World Court) Joan recommended I would now need a consensus to force an action on compliance?
The problem as I see things is:
Governments that sign laws, legislations, accords, conventions etc are rarely in office long enough to complete what they sign up to do.
Ambassador Manning, do you have some suggestions on how Rotarians can hold governments accountable to fulfill their climate commitments? Should we be working through multinational organizations or at the national level? What kinds of public actions, what kinds of more quiet advocacy?
Weather is changing always. We can’t stop but can delay the bad changes in to good. But where are the possible areas in focus.
I agreed
Manifestation of Climate change was a slow process which has been accelerated by anthropogenic causes and becoming irreversible. The topic selected by RIPE is not only relevant but the crying need of the day. Let us give our best effort to contribute towards retarding the process of climate change.
Climate change is not all about carbon, our research has confirmed that bioclimatic factors are much more important. We will survive climate change, but we will not survive the loss of nature that will be completed in around 20 years.
The oceans could save humanity, but we must first save the oceans and marine life from extinction.

Hi,
Is there a repository for past webinars videos and other links?
Some of the webinars are held at times not very friendly to people in other parts of the world.
But we are very interested to learn on what is happening, to share what we are doing and perhaps, collaborate.
Yes, we would be glad to send you the link to the webinar. The recording will be available in about two weeks. ESRAG webinars are recorded so people can watch them at times that are feasible in different parts of the world. Anyone who registers for an ESRAG webinar will receive the link to the recording.
